Intended use:

For in vitro diagnostic use. The RIDA^® Anreicherungsbouillon is used to enrich E.coli bacteria which produce shigatoxins (verotoxins) from stool.

General information:

• The pathogens must first be enriched by culturing in a suitable medium


• The bile salts in the RIDA^® Anreicherungsbouillon selectively promote the growth of coliform bacteria and suppresses gram-positives


• Contains Mitomycin C (MMC) which is essential for the production of shigatoxins


• Fast detection of verotoxin from the supernatant after centrifugation by the RIDA^®QUICK Verotoxin / O157 Combi (Art. No. N2202/N2203) after 1:2 dilution with extraction buffer
